Не отстъпиха на Русия за ембаргото върху полското месо и казаха, че ще наложат вето на подкрепата на ЕС за влизането на РФ в СТО. Като резултат Русия отстъпи. Сега защитиха и националния си интерес пред ЕС, заявявайки, че ще наложат вето на поправките в европейската конституция, които не вземат предвид полския интерес.....и пак спечелиха.
